The Feast Up Close (Part 2)

The second part, I decided on uploading it in two sets as to prevent photo flooding, well, I kind of failed on the flooding issue but at least I tried, you can't blame me now, hahaha. We had spiked iced tea for drinks, in case you're wondering.

Marsmallow Top
(for the lack of something better to call my new invention, hahaha)

The Feast Up Close (Part 1)

I mentioned in an earlier post that we celebrated the feast of our community's patron saint and just because I was in the mood to take lots of pics at that time, a closer look on the menu. Enjoy!

Bite-sized Fish Fillets with Garlic Mayo

Pista sa Amin

Last Sunday, January 30, marked the yearly celebration of the feast of San Roque in our community and as per tradition, we had some food on our table, ready for a few or several visitors who may drop by our door. We don't have much as we don't expect any groups in particular but we had enough to feed a bunch.

You can even tell from our spread where we hail from, seafood equals Navotas, baby *grins*. And believe it or not most, if not all, of our visitors tends to expect lots of seafoods when they come to visit. So, we just gave them what they wanted...

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

It is but necessary that my first post is something sweet, not just because I am a sweet person *lmao*, the irony, but more so, because of some friends who loves doughnuts as much as I do, you know who you are. Plus, a certain someone who's on a diet like me who hates to see food pics at the moment *ehemAteSueehem*, will surely flip out *lol*.

Krispy Kreme opened up its first branch on July 13, 1937 with a special recipe created by a French chef in New Orleans. After almost eight decades in the industry, it is now considered to be a top-notch doughnut chain and a global enterprise.

I think, it branched out here in the Philippines on 2008 and because of its huge success, you can now find a branch in almost all the high-end malls in the metro. Now, it's not only about the doughnuts anymore, they also offer beverages that suits every consumers' palette and their cafes boasts of a cozy ambiance that is sure to make you feel relax and happy with your stay.

Greetings from the Crypt

I've been mulling over the idea of opening another food and travel blog, you see, once upon a time, I had this food and travel blog which will stay unknown to the curious, but when I decided to leave the land of the living, I kind of, sort of, let it go in the process. A friend told me to just revive and resurrect it from the dead now that I finally decided to live with normal people again, well, normalcy is an indefinite word, so mingling with normal people in my vocabulary may mean those insane, crazy ahjummas around, hahaha. Okay, sorry, I digress, but you see, the thought of reviving something that is dead doesn't suit my fancy, it'll be like a zombie if we're dealing with humans right, and I don't think I have the stomach and the brain powers to deal with such. I know, I know, I'm blabbering, but what can I do, I'm born to blabber, hahaha.

Anyways, as I was saying, I've been toying with the idea, but something just kept on holding me back, I'm not exactly sure what, but I guess, it has something to do with me trying on loosing some extra flabs here and there but heck, I'm bored out of my wits today, it's 3 in the morning and no one's around to entertain me and those stuff that I did to waste away my time doesn't fit anymore, I don't know, it's almost a year now, so maybe a change is inevitable, as I've said, I have a short-attention span deficiency *grins*.

According to Dave Barry, “The word aerobics comes from two Greek words: aero, meaning "ability to," and bics, meaning "withstand tremendous boredom,” but I don't wanna do aerobics, I'd rather start a food blog *grins*, so here goes - PUD BLAG NI AKO is now open to serve you.

Let's have a happy and full (in all sorts of way) life together!
