Greenwich Ham and Cheese Pizza
I went out this afternoon to pay some bills and buy some toiletries for me and my son, I got caught up in the flood of students making their way home so I decided to stay in the nearby mall for a while. I was too lazy (nothing's new) to walk around and window shop, so I decided to lounge in the comfy couches of Greenwich, of course, I can't do that without ordering something, so I opted for some classic Ham and Cheese and the thought of staying for a little while prompted me to take it in double (the regular sized ones will be too small and will not bid me time *grins*). It turned out to be too big for my appetite so it became a take home treat for my son, nakatipid ako sa pasalubong, hahaha.

Marshmallow Top
Another recipe from yours truly *wink*, Marshmallow Top is the dessert I made the last time we had people over (during the Feast of San Roque), it was the first time I concocted it and it was a hit, so I'm sharing the recipe, go and do it for your family :D

You'll need:
You'll need:
- graham crackers
- all-purpose cream
- confectioner's sugar
- marshmallows (I used white, mint-flavored marshmallows for icing and tiny colored ones as toppings)

Brownies Unlimited Cupcakes
A cousin went by our house a few days ago to give a box of cupcakes to my son, thank you dearie! It was good, it was my first time trying out Brownies Unlimited's version of cupcakes as I'm a brownie person *grins* and it passed my not-so-choosy taste buds. Unfortunately though, it kinda suffered in the aesthetic level (as seen on the photo below), you see my cousin rode a public transport going to our house and you know how some jeepney drivers tend to think that we're all in for a straight ride to heaven, it's a good thing, the cupcakes only suffered minor bruises and scratches *lol*.

Happy Friday everyone!

Kamasutra Chocolates
Heart's Day is just around the corner, I know that most, specially those that are taken are anticipating, wondering if their loved ones will send them chocolates, flowers or heart-warming message in a card. Others are sure to be planning romantic dinner dates, or something different and un-cliche but as sweet.
Well, don't expect much from this blogger, because frankly, I am not a sweet person, so whether it be suggestions or promotions, or things in between, I have none, hahaha. But, I have something naughty up in my sleeve, come on scroll down and take a look...

Tikoy/Nian Gao (Chinese New Year's Cake)
A few days after the fiesta celebration here in our place, it was time for the yearly welcome on lunar new year, as the day and the eve fell on a weekday hence a school day, we didn't get to celebrate the event. My mom asked me to still prepare the traditional pancit or miswa, steamed fish and dumplings but I was too lazy and I kinda have other things on my mind so I didn't, hehe. But, as I am a sucker for food, though I swear I am on a diet, I can't and wouldn't resist the allure of Nian Gao or more commonly known as Tikoy, and because family friends tend to have Tikoy as giveaways and gifts, the supply and availability wasn't really a problem *grins*.
Photos below were of the more common variants - pandan, classic white and ube. All are equally good but I prefer the white and the brown one, when it comes to Tikoy, the simpler, the better.
Kung Hei Wat Chai!

Kalamay (Glutinous Rice Cakes)

Prizes
In continuation of my Fiesta series *grins*, photo below were the prizes given to the winners of the charades (2 rounds), bring me and Pinoy Henyo games. I won 1 plain M&Ms (actually, it's more of a donation because my kiddo was getting angry as he kept on loosing so the game monster (pun of master) had to give him a prize for sheer effort, hahaha), a 3pc. packet of Fererro Rocher courtesy of a landslide win together with my partner in a bout of charades and a few pieces of kisses cookies and cream just for hassling everyone in the bring me game, bwahahaha.
Next year ulit ha!
