Home-made Potato Chips

Still on the topic of Lent, here's a snack that is healthy and guilt-free, well, it still does pack on the calories but I think a little step forward a healthier us still matters :D It's easy, budget-friendly and uber-yummy!

You'll need:
  • potatoes
  • salt
  • water
  • cooking oil

You just have to:
  • Clean the potatoes thoroughly, you can even scrub it clean.
  • Slice or grate the potatoes thinly and let it sit in a bowl of cold water with salt.
  • Deep fry until crisp and golden brown.
  • Serve as is or with a mayo dip. You can even sprinkle it with some cheese or bbq powder.

Easy breezy!
