Toblerone Crunchy Almonds

Round No. 19!

My husband's aunt was married to a Swiss and she's still in residence at the Alps (Switzerland), she had two children, one boy and one girl and last they visited they told us that Toblerone is pronounced as Tob-le-ro-ne and not Tob-le-ron.  Pa-sosyal pa kasi tayo magsalita, un naman pala ganun lang ka-simple un, galing noh, hahaha.

(Travelling) Toblerone

Round No. 11!

Are you some kinda curious about the title?  Well, look at the photo below and you'll know why *grins*.

Toblerone is the legendary triangular Swiss chocolate with honey and almond nougat, featured in this post is the milk chocolate variant.  As far as I know (seen), there are four kinds of Toblerone bars - milk chocolate (gold box), dark chocolate (black box), white chocolate (white box) and the fruits and nuts (blue or purple box).

Another loot from Mommy Nene, this one was specifically given to yours truly as she knows how much I adore Toblerone and chocolates in general, hence, the biggest chocolate bar went to me.  Winner!

Are You Afraid of the Dark?

Remember that teeny-bopper series during the 90's? Yes, the one where a group of teens sits around a bonfire at night and take turns to narrate a scary story! Oh yeah, they were the first to use magic dust on fires, not an original from J.K Rowling, hahaha. Anyway, that and this post is entirely different from each other, I was just showcasing my superb talent in digression, hahaha.

A limited edition Toblerone Dark, I don't know if it was released here or if it was brought home by someone she knew, those chocolates, which you can see photos of below, was given to my son by her tita Lloydie the first time they met. Emyr didn't get to enjoy it, as he is not a fan of dark chocolates, but I did, promise :)

Better late than never, ayt? Thanks Lloydie :)

P.S.
Emyr doesn't like dark chocolates, so in a way, he is afraid of the dark (choco), now I can safely say that this post is aptly titled, hahaha. Justification of one's thought or way of thinking, I think I learned that in Theology, or is it Psych 101? Oh well... have a great weekend people!

Prizes

In continuation of my Fiesta series *grins*, photo below were the prizes given to the winners of the charades (2 rounds), bring me and Pinoy Henyo games. I won 1 plain M&Ms (actually, it's more of a donation because my kiddo was getting angry as he kept on loosing so the game monster (pun of master) had to give him a prize for sheer effort, hahaha), a 3pc. packet of Fererro Rocher courtesy of a landslide win together with my partner in a bout of charades and a few pieces of kisses cookies and cream just for hassling everyone in the bring me game, bwahahaha.

Next year ulit ha!
