Lloydie's Treat at Pizza Hut

Hello *waves*! It's been a month since I last posted here, real life's been drowning me and yeah chickenpox came and lingers *sigh*.

The return of the comeback *smiles* I hope I still am welcome *pleading puppy eyes*.

I was one of those who trooped at SM North EDSA when they had their Great Northern Sale (which is so untrue, 70% my ass, the biggest drop down I heard is 30% and the biggest I availed of was at 20% off), not the best experience shopping-wise but I had a blast hanging out with friends.

Pizza Hut was a given as I came with my son, but their pizza and pasta tasted so much better at that time, I guess, binging for free made all the difference *lol*.

Lloydie's order - a plate of Spaghetti Shrimp Garlic and Mushrooms (spaghetti sauteed with shrimps and mushrooms in garlic-butter sauce) priced at 145php.

Have I ever mentioned that she is a true-blue practicing pescatarian so her food choices are kinda limited, but she's lean and fab and her skin's so supple, so it must be all worth it, I wish I have the discipline to do the same thing or at least something close *grins*. No idea what I'm talkin' about? Google it *lol*!

Bilog's order was Pizza Hut's 3-Cheese Ravioli (plump ravioli pasta filled with mozzarella, parmesan and cream cheeses tossed in a light tomato sauce and drizzled with pesto cream) prized at 165php.

One not-so-good commentary though, I think their 3-Cheese Ravioli is getting blander and blander, it was so much better when their pasta line was newly-introduced in the market a year or so ago, wala lang sad lang na ganon nangyayari *tongue out*.

It was the good old Spaghetti Bolognese with Meatballs for me (pasta cooked al dente with savory sweet Bolognese sauce and Italian meatballs) priced at 129php. It is an all-time favorite, I remember Pizza Hut serving spaghetti with meat sauce and spaghetti with meatballs way before their chef-pasta line was developed, the name was changed but the taste remain *grins*, do I need to say more? Biases, biases *lol*!

We also ordered Baked Fettuccine Alfredo (fettuccine noodles tossed with bacon and cheese in a rich and creamy alfredo sauce) but I was already engrossed with our K-Entertainment talks to bother taking a pic *grins*, it is priced at 145php, always a comfortable pasta option, come on, who doesn't like Fettuccine Alfredo?

Photo above, obviously, is a serving of Garlic Bread priced at 55php, no, we're not garlic bread addicts, it just so happens that my son doesn't eat pasta that much, actually, he only eat pasta once in a blue moon, Pizza Hut for him is all about pizza but we all know that pizzas take the longest to be serve (in any pizza place) so an order of garlic bread was needed for him to nibble on while he wait, sometimes he go for french fries or mozzarella sticks, just so you know *giggles*.

Last but not the least, the ever-present Meat Lovers Pizza (protein-packed serving of bacon, beef, ham, pepperoni and seasoned pork) the only pizza variant my son care for, he had the regular-sized one priced at 279php.

We had bottomless sodas, red iced tea and lemon iced tea priced at 75, 85 and 79php accordingly. Not a good choice if you don't gobble liquid like crazy, my son and I didn't even bother with a refill, impractical, I'm telling you, hehe. All menu prices are subject to 10% service charge and local tax, so bring lots of extra money, hahaha.
