Dessert at Cafe Breton

This is the other half of a post I made a month ago, they should have been posted together, or at least side by side, or in this blog's case one after the other but as the blogger who man this blog is a full-blooded procrastinator *sigh*...

Anyway, after we finished our belly-bulging lunch at Dragon Chef, we decided on walking a little (in the hopes of burning a bit of calories that we had consumed *grins*) before we sit in for some coffee or dessert. We decided on Cafe Breton as both Papercrane and I hadn't tried it yet and Lloydie only had good words to say about it.

Cafe Breton offers French Crepes and Fine Coffee (a tagline which is prominent on their signage and menu), it has this classy and sophisticated appeal that gives off a 'this place is expensive' kind of vibe, but don't be intimidated as it is not that pricey (my personal opinion) and every penny you spent will be worth your while.

Cafe Breton menu
Though they do specialize in crepes and coffee, they also offer galettes, salad, pasta, sandwiches, fruit and milkshakes, ice cream and other kinds of desserts, so you can drop in any time of day.

Mango Caramel Crepe
We all know I'm not much of a food critic, I won't even pass as a decent reviewer, so let's not expect much from me, okie!

Photo above was Lloydie's choice of dessert and she swore that it was super good.  We were still full from our late lunch but once Lloydie spotted Mango Caramel Crepe in the menu, she's a goner, she was even doing her own version of 'kilig-to-the-bones' everytime she took a bite *grins*.

Caramel Cappucino
She partnered it with a cup of Caramel Cappucino and she was in saccharine heaven *lol*.

Frappes
Papercrane and I both had a glass of milkshake, I was even adamant to order one as I was still super 'busog' but as we needed a cool place to hang-out and make 'kwento' and we didn't want to be tagged as standbys and seat-huggers, I obliged.

Strawberries and Creme Frappe
And God, I was thankful I did, because their Strawberries and Creme Frappe was love, though you shouldn't take my word for it as I am sucker for all things strawberry, especially when it comes to shakes, frappes, ice creams and other cold desserts.

White Forest Frappe
Papercrane had White Forest Frappe, it doesn't look white to me but hey, Papercrane like it so it must be good (sounds like a movie outfit's tagline during the 80s) *lol*.

moon and stars
It's a suitable place for long and quiet talks, like with friends who seldom see each other and would like updates on each others life and Korean series that they are currently watching *lol*;  a good place to take food pics or selfies for an up-to-date post in Instagram or Twitter, hmm, am I like describing us three *lol*.

Cafe Breton offers great food, good service, perfect for a laid-back and long (insert any mealtime you prefer) ambiance, it's one of those place you should go to and try at least once in your lifetime.
