I happened to pass this by while visiting Dencio.com, I'm not a regular visitor of that food blog, I just did what I usually do, randomly click on links that look interesting and voila, it's a good thing though, I'm loving that site, food and food promos galore.
Anyways, Starbucks' going to have a Happy Hour with your favorite fraps at half the price, starting on May 02 till May 08, 2011 every 12 - 2 pm.
Who loves frappuccino, say aye! AYE!
Aish, ottoke, I'm craving for a Caramel Macchiato *pouts*...

A Day After Holy Week
A day after Holy Week, here I am, feeling bloated, hahaha, I think I have eaten all the food that I resisted this past few months due to my ongoing diet, wala lang, parang nabalewala lang lahat, nyahahaha. I think, the few pounds that I've lost in the course of 3 months, I gained back in a matter of days, oh why do our metabolism becomes slower as we age *sigh*?
I don't have photos to show you as I was too lazy to get up and get the digicam, if only I can eat lying down, I think, I would have done it that way *grins*.
Hmm, I had...
Halo-Halo, Sago at Gulaman, and Lugaw at Tokwa on Monday, I actually tried fasting but obviously, I failed, hahaha.
Halo-Halo, Cornetto, Roller Coaster, Patata, Kirei, Coke, Pansit Canton and Pandesal on Tuesday.
Saging con Hielo, Cookies and Cream ice cream stick, Nova, V-cut, Sprite, and Instant Noodles on Wednesday.
Thursday marked the start of my binging, Lumpiang Ubod, Fish Roll (a taste), Steamed Sweet Potato, Corn with Butter, a lot of Iced Tea, Selecta Kisses Ice Cream, Cheetos and Ruffles.
Potato Fries and Potato Chips, Clam Stew (kabya), Oysters (talaba), Rice (lots of it), Halo-Halo, Clover Chips, Patata, Fudgee Bar Milk, Coke, Scrambled Eggs with Tomatoes and Onions for Good Friday.
Danggit and Fried Rice, Sauteed Onions and Tomatoes, Pancit Canton and Pandesal, Adobong Talaba (Oysters), we also have Tahong (Mussels) and Fried fish (Hasa-Hasa) but I don't eat that stuff, hehe, Roller Coaster, Oishi, Onion Rings and lots of Pineapple juice on Saturday.
Nilagang Baka, Fried Sliced Fish, Grilled Tilapia, Grilled Pork Chops, lots of rice, Watermelon, Oranges, Banana, Melon, Hot Pandesal and Kesong Puti, Buco Juice, Choco Tops, Fudgee Bar, Ice Cream and Pancit Palabok on Easter Sunday.
It was a week of food lovin' and now, I need to starve myself to shed the pounds off again *sigh* but it was fun, hehe.

Super Late Dinner at Samarenos
I've always been a homebody, I seldom go out, basically because I am too lazy to fix myself up or I am too much of a tightwad to spend a fortune out and because I don't have that many friends to party the night away. See, I've always been the type to live my life the way I want it and having a few friends to none sort of make that kind of lifestyle easier.
But now that I am reunited with some childhood friends, I am embracing a new world, a new way of living, hahaha, kidding. I just get to go out a little more often than before *grins*.
A few days ago, a grade school classmate and I met to exchange documents that we need in the preparations of our reunion, of course, we won't let it pass without a 'chikahan' session, so off we went to a nearby eatery - Samarenos (read: Samarenyos), we actually stayed longer than we should, I got to go home at 12:30am which is way past my curfew, yes, my mom still enforce a curfew on me *pouts* and yeah, I was scolded till I was near puking, hahaha.
Anyway, I had a lot of fun and I'm willing to risk another bout of scolding if it means I can have another late dinner at Samarenos with a friend.
We had Sizzling Chicken bathed in gravy and served with some buttered vegetables on the side, priced at 90 pesos. It's not that exceptional but it does serve the purpose of dousing one's hunger.

Lunch at Golden Fortune
Papercrane and I met last April 11 at Caloocan City, I did some school hunting as I plan to transfer my son to a different school, somewhere near our place, somewhere in Navotas - Malabon area will be nice, my son is currently enrolled in CentEx, which is located in Manila, and I'm telling you coming and going plus prep time took it's toll on me, on us. Anyway, I was on my way to UE Caloocan when Papercrane sent me an emergency text, I thought of different scenarios of why she needed help but I wasn't prepared for what she told me next, her shoes gave up on her, yes the pair of them, and she needs a change, a new slippers or any footwear. So, being the older sister, I junked my plan of inquiring in the mentioned university and ran to her aid, I bought us a pink pair of slip-ons, yes it is a twin, hers a size 6, mines a size 8. It's nice, we did rock the pink footwear.
We went to Victory Mall afterwards and ended up in Golden Fortune - The Hong Kong Cuisine, as we were looking for a quiet place to eat and lounge. The place was nice, the staff were attentive and very polite, the food was great and the price was on the spot. If ever you're in the vicinity, do try it out, I highly recommend it.
Note: I am in no way related to the said establishment, this post is of my personal opinion and taste.
My order - Hong Kong Lechon Rice Meal, it comes with buttered cabbage as a side dish, and for 88 pesos, this is a winner. And if you are an extra rice type of person, you just have to add 8 pesos and you'll get yourself an unlimited rice servings.

Birthday Two
My tatay's birthday fall on the same month as my mom, exactly 9 days later, if you want the numbers. He just cooked some pansit, as usual, to give away to the neighbors, we bought a liter of Nestle Sorbetes Espesyal - Cookies and Cream and a whole Chocolate Roll from Goldilocks. The ice cream is not that yummy but for 125pesos, I guess one shouldn't expect much, the chocolate roll tasted the same but my tatay's pansit is better than my nanay's, hahaha, don't tell on me, okay!
Tatay also prepared other goodies pero pang-pulutan eh, nasabi ko na ba na may pagka-alcoholic ang ama ko, pwahahaha. I didn't took pictures, I hate it when my father drinks and I hate his drinking friends more *sigh*.
We had lunch the next day at Max's, I didn't brought my camera as we went there right after church but a cousin did, let's just pray he'll give me my damn copy before the world ends.
