Granny Saturday!

Several weeks ago, our family joined the whole world in the celebration of Grandparents Day, in our case, it was grandmother's day as tatay wasn't home to celebrate with us, he was sent out-of-town for work.  My younger bro was also at work, leaving me, hubby and kuya E the task of recognizing nanay as a true blue grandparent, naisip ko lang si Kuya E pala talaga dapat mag-effort kasi nag-iisa lang naman s'yang apo, hehe.

We didn't have the time and the money, haha, to do it elaborately and I know how my nanay ride, she wants everything as simple as it can be, so we're all good *grins*.

Super Late Post: New Year's Eve 2013

Madalas ang pamilya namin eh mas naghahanda tuwing sumasalubong kami ng Bagong Taon, para daw sa kaginhawahan at maging maalwan ang pasok ng taon kumpara sa pagsalubong sa Pasko kasi sabi nga ng nanay ko, si Jesus nga daw sa sabsaban pinanganak kaya basta't may mapagsaluhan lang at maihanda sa mga taong dadalaw at mamamasko sa amin ay sapat na, ang mahalaga, we know the blessing of sharing.

Milflores Peachy-Peachy

If there's one thing Malabon is famous for aside from being a flood-prone area and the pancit coined after the city's name, it would have to be their kakanin - one of those being the peachy-peachy (pitsi-pitsi).

One of the merienda(s) that we had in the office, it was a thank-you gift from one of the teachers who asked our office for a favor. At syempre dahil libre, mas masarap yan, hahaha, ubos agad eh :D
