11 na si Kuya E!

I haven't been back in the food trippin' and food findin' grind yet, having a baby and rearin' one is very time-consuming, add it to the fact that I was forced to come back to work earlier than I wanted and planned to.  But I have several posts waiting to be published, with birthdays and holidays, and feasts and celebrations.

Here's Kuya E's 11th birthday celebration.

Family Celebration

I celebrated my --th birthday last month and I happened to celebrate it thrice with different people - family, friends and co-workers.  The first one happened on my natal day, spot on, hehe.  My family and I shared a simple thanksgiving dinner *smiles*, oh and I received my gift early, active, little Baby A on my tummy.

Sweets aren't allowed but as it is my birthday, a cake is in order, I wasn't allowed to touch it though, they just let me blow a single candle to have my wish.  Pwede na rin, hehe.

Friday with Ilie

A friend and co-worker bid us adieu, as she moves forward and reach for other opportunities; a greener pasture and a worthier shepherd.  I have mix emotions, I'm happy that she's moving forward and, hopefully, gets the recognition she deserves; but I'm also a bit emotionally downtrodden as I lose a confidant and 'co-punching bag' (read: hingahan ng sama ng loob).  Pero sige, basta, kung saan sya masaya, suportahan namin sya!

We spent our last after-office date as co-workers at our friendly neighborhood mall, we had a light dinner at Pizza Hut with chikaminute session *grins* and then we walked some while continuing our bouts of chismis.

Cravings: Pizza Hut (The Meaty Renditions)

I'm not a first time mom so I know the perks and responsibilities of carrying a child, but I admit, sometimes I get overwhelmed with the power we mommies hold over the people who love us.  Explanation?  Nah, I'm too lazy to explain and expound but I can give a very good example, my bro is such a tightwad (with his family, not with his friends) so imagine me, telling him, I want some all-meat pizza for dinner as a way of making lambing, knowing deep within that my request will fall onto deaf ears but lo and behold, he ordered two boxes of pizzas from Pizza Hut, Ham & Cheese and Bacon Cheeseburger.  He, even, went as far as putting half of both flavors in one box and handing it to me, telling me that's it all mine and they'll all just share the other box.  I was like, 'Whoa!' (eyes popping and all) for a few seconds until I realized he might change his mind any minute so I dove in and grab my first slice, followed by my next and the next and the next...

Swimming and Pizza

As we welcome the month of March, we also embrace the month of graduations and start of summer vacations, scorching heat of the summer sun, well-deserved vacations and/or staycations and other fun stuff we only get to do during summertime.

Well, we started ahead of everyone else (or at least, everyone else that I knew of *lol*), I didn't get to dip in the pool as I let the young ones have their fun but I did enjoy the food that came along with the activity *lol*.

E's 10th Birthday Celeb

The final piece of the puzzle, the final part of E's birthday series - the actual celebration.  I've mentioned in a previous post that I was sick when my son celebrated his 10th, so I wasn't able to rally everyone in our household and made them do what they had to do or what I want them to do (yes, I am an accomplished bully *lol*), so take-outs and people who care became our saving grace.

Pizza Hut Delivery and Us

If there's a food chain (with delivery service) contest wherein the one with the greatest number of regular customers / avid fan will win, our family will definitely be included on Pizza Hut's list.  If you ever go and waste time asking our neighbors of which delivery motorcycle they see the most parked at our gate, I think they'll answer as one - Pizza Hut.

I don't know where the fanaticism roots, don't look at me, I only learnt to appreciate Pizza Hut when I was in high school, I used to snob any pizza with lots of trimmings and toppings, I'm a simple girl who wanted her pizza with ham and cheese like that of Pizza Stop *grins*.  Maybe it was because the husband is a voracious pizza eater, or maybe because we introduced our son to the taste and flavor of pizza at a very young age, or maybe because we just felt sure that whatever we ordered at Pizza Hut it will never be wasted, I mean, there's already an assurance (which we don't have to vocalized) that at least one or two or three people in the family will be happy and satisfied with the delivery.

Oh well, what I'm rattling about doesn't even matter, hurhur!

E's 9th! (Part 3)

E's third and last 9th bday bash, this time it's with his family naman, syempre need din namin kumain at maki-happy-happy di ba?

It was a simple feast, as his birthday falls on the day before Christmas we just celebrate it with no fuzz or most of the time we just make it sabay sa noche buena para tipid, hahaha.  I remember E celebrating his birthdays in a grand way when he was 1 to 3 years old but then I got old and tired of all the hassles and aftermaths of December 24 parties, after those three years it just became children's parties at school with his classmates and birthday con noche buena celebration at home.  Then he got older (he's 9!) and it became a cake-blowing affair with his classmates and simple birthday dinner with us.

Ha, how time flies?

thanks to pizza deliveries life is a beach *grins*

His was celebrated (one time) at home with family, his sister cooked some Pancit Bihon while we ordered Crispy Pata and Pizza, syempre, we had his favorite drink of all time, Coke.

Pizza Hut Day

On my part of the world, Mother's Day equates to Pizza Hut Day.  It might be different in yours, I do know that the world tends to tilt differently as preferred by our children.

We were not in the mood to go out so delivery it was.

Another Dinner Date, This Time at Pizza Hut

Per titled, my fam and I had another dinner date, actually, I sort of give in to my son's demand as, sort of, payment for working on a Sunday.

As requested by my prince, we headed to Pizza Hut, Malabon City Square branch and ordered their buy 2 pizzas for 419 pesos, Cheeseburger and Hawaiian flavors, and a 1.5 liter of Pepsi. Happiness (sa pananaw ng anak ko, hehe) in 500 pesos or less, teehee.

Pasensya na po sa mga larawan, dinapuan na ng kapagalan ang aking mga kamay kaya't tabingi na ang mga kuha ko :P

E goofing around, ain't he adorable?
(wag na kumontra, kapag nabasa ko ang blog nyo at sinabi nyo adorable din ang anak nyo, di rin ako kokonta, hahaha)

Note: I was reviewing some of my blog posts and I found this, I blogged about the Pair Deal pala a long, long time ago, good thing it is still available in MC Square branch :D

Lloydie's Treat at Pizza Hut

Hello *waves*! It's been a month since I last posted here, real life's been drowning me and yeah chickenpox came and lingers *sigh*.

The return of the comeback *smiles* I hope I still am welcome *pleading puppy eyes*.

I was one of those who trooped at SM North EDSA when they had their Great Northern Sale (which is so untrue, 70% my ass, the biggest drop down I heard is 30% and the biggest I availed of was at 20% off), not the best experience shopping-wise but I had a blast hanging out with friends.

Pizza Hut was a given as I came with my son, but their pizza and pasta tasted so much better at that time, I guess, binging for free made all the difference *lol*.

Lloydie's order - a plate of Spaghetti Shrimp Garlic and Mushrooms (spaghetti sauteed with shrimps and mushrooms in garlic-butter sauce) priced at 145php.

Have I ever mentioned that she is a true-blue practicing pescatarian so her food choices are kinda limited, but she's lean and fab and her skin's so supple, so it must be all worth it, I wish I have the discipline to do the same thing or at least something close *grins*. No idea what I'm talkin' about? Google it *lol*!
