I Love You Jollibee!

We went linen shopping last weekend (bed sheets, pillow cases, crib beddings, etc.) and because I was good and behave, I received a treat.  I did walked a lot and burn a lot of calories and glucose in the process, so a little fast food won't hurt, right? Don't go and rain on my parade, just nod your head and say yes, haha.

happiness in a tray
I was determined to have a taste of Jollibee's Ultimate Burger Steak that day, so when hubby asked me where I want to eat and wait while he's scouting for some foam, I immediately said Jollibee.  He was adamant at first, but because I am such a sweet talker and because I promise I'll eat more of the protein and only my required carbo intake, he gave in.  But as I'll have it, it wasn't the right time, the Ultimate Burger Steak was not in the menu that day *sad face* so I decided to just go old school and order the classics.

Chicken Joy and Spaghetti Meal
1-pc Burger Steak
I ate half of the burger steak, half of the chicken joy and the whole order of spaghetti, I left the rest for hubby to finish.

Superman Bucket Meal at Jollibee

Heard about the new Superman movie, yes with that uber gorgeous lead? No, not yet... what? Are you living under a rock or in a cave? Seriously...

Jollibee Superman Bucket Meal cost a little less than 500 pesos, a one peso difference I think, hurhur! It comes with 6 or 8 (I'm not sure, I didn't count, hehe) pieces of Chickenjoy, 4 orders of rice, 3 big servings of gravy and 4 cups of milo mix-ins (which is not included in the photo, well, take-outs and ice cream just doesn't mix well or add up).

The 99-Peso Meal at Jollibee

A second before I hailed a jeepney that will bring me closer to home, I received a text message from my son, asking for some pasalubong, I only have two choices - Jollibee or Dunkin Donuts, so I opted for the first.

And because I don't have the luxury to splurge yet, I bought one of their 99-peso meal offering. I forgot what else was there, but I do remember that there were three choices.

Four more days to go, are you ready?

Jollibee Chicken Nugget Crunchers and Strawberry Sundae

Ever since my son learnt that Jollibee is not the only food establishment on Earth, my love of Chickenjoy, Burger Steak, Yum Burger, Aloha, among others returned. We don't frequent the fastfood chain but I do visit once in a while to try the classics and, of course, sample the new ones. I had blogged about Hash Brown Burger a few months ago, now, I am back with Jollibee Chicken Nuggets and Strawberry Sundae.

Don't expect a detailed blog post coz I just got home and I am freakin' tired, hahaha. A five-piece chicken nugget meal (with rice and regular-sized drink) will cost you 99 pesos, it comes with a bbq sauce and you have to pay 10 pesos for an extra. The Strawberry Sundae, which is now one of my favorites, cost 25 pesos, heaven that comes with a cheap pricetag *grins*.

Jollibee's Hash Brown Burger

I was sick for almost a month, I was unable to eat the food that I want and crave for *sigh* (ang sad no?) so I promise myself that when I get better, I'm so gonna binge on everything, I started with the Tower Burger, next, I had Jollibee's Hash Brown Burger.

As the box clearly states, the hash browns used were baked (plus points to the health conscious consumers, nope, I'm not one of them, but I do appreciate the effort) thus the non-greasy feel, you won't even feel or spot a tinge of oil in the wrap. It's actually good, you can buy it ala-carte for 64php, 80 with a regular drink and 96 when you upsize (I know because I did, hahaha), my son took a few bites and it passed his discriminating taste.

*sigh* but don't you wish Aloha is back?

Heads Up!

My son's classes started last Tuesday, June 14, and since then, I am a walking, talking zombie, I lack sleep for all the wrong reasons while I tried to be a doting mama to my boy. My son's in second grade already but as I transferred him to a new and nearer school, he's like starting anew, new school equals new environment, new set of friends, new teachers, new rules, new everything and he's learning his way one step at a time, I plan on backing him up until he can stand on his own feet again, it may take weeks to a month so regular updates on this blog and the others will likely be non-existent. I may have the chance to sneak in a post or two along the way but I'm not making a promise, I tend to break promises, as you may know *lol*. Anyway, I just wanna let everyone know.

Okay, about my recently-acquired habit/vice of posting pic and leaving a note saying I'll edit it in a later date, I'm really sorry about that, I wasn't really planning on running away on my responsibilities as a blogger, I really thought I can forced everything to work out but somewhere along the way, with unfinished posts and all, I realized I'm attempting the impossible. I'm really sorry for doing things half-baked *sigh*, but I really wish it's possible. Anyway, in case, I have the itch to post but I had to go in the middle of working on it, I do hope, you'll extend your patience and bear with me for a little while. But, I promise to try my best not do that anymore.

Me, living my life without a digital camera... it's suffocating and super boring. I really wish I am a billionaire so I can just snap a finger and everything I need and want will be delivered right at my feet *sigh*, that would be the life.
