Night Cap at Caffe da Roma

One of Prof and I's bonding and foodtrip moments *smiles*, it happened a while back and I am blogging about it just now because... I am me, and I procrastinate like it'll be my last, nyahaha!

We visited Caffe da Roma, a quaint and covert cafe located in the ground floor area of Oreta Sports Center in Malabon City.  We've passed it by a few times (during our InfiniTea visits) and both of us pledged to try it out sometime, we had no idea what food they offer or if it's affordable, but the place oozes an old-world charm that one can't seem to ignore, or at least, we can't seem to ignore, hurhur!

One day, after hours of strenuous labor, we decided to make real with our promise and had a night cap at Caffe da Roma.

Sansrival
Coffee Jelly Frappuccino
Prof had a tall order of Coffee Jelly Frappuccino and a slice of Sansrival, both of which she liked and enjoyed.

Baked Penne Pasta
Caramel Frappuccino
While I had a tall order of Caramel Frappe (my all-time favorite, pansin nyo ba? hehe), Hotdog Sandwich (not on photo) and  Baked Penne Pasta, which I finished up to the last drop and bite, yes, I'm that hungry  *grins*.

Godfather posters on the wall
earth-colored cushions
If I may be frank, their prices are sort of steep, based on a commoner's salary (me) and compared to other local coffee shops; taste-wise, you wouldn't hear me throwing praises about their menu offerings; but the ambiance, the serenity and laid-back atmosphere of Caffe da Roma made up for all its imperfections, I would gladly come back just to while away time and sip on some coffee or tea.
